Training and placement in any engineering and technological institute is one of the most important activities. Nearly 200 students have to be provided practical training during summer/winter vacations. It has always been possible to get fairly good training seats in reputed organisations for our students. The reports of the organisations had been good regarding our students. With the increase in number of institutions placement function has become very important. The activities of training and placement are therefore being increased now days.
The institute has well developed degree programme in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry and Man Made Fibre Technology. Full time post graduate programme in Textile Technology and doctrate in textiles is also being run. Syllabi of each of the abore streams are continuously reviewed and modernised.
Apart from academics the curriculam of this institute lays great emphasis on all round development of personality. Hence GCTI graduates scattered all over India and abroad in Textile industry are known for their innovativeness, technical soundness, leadership qualities, team spirit and confidence.
Students of this institute are selected through UPSEAT exam a rigoroul test held over U.P. for admission to different engineering colleges of U.P.
Our graduated and postgraduates occupy key position in textile industry and have been handling, different important functions like production, sales, marketing, maintenance, research & development and administrative activities.
Training: Students after their third year, receive summer framing of four weeks in esteemed organisation like Arvind Mills, Vardhman Spinning & General Mills, Nahar industries, Grasim, Jagashree Textiles, Gorukhpur & Pipes Ltd. etc. Some students get job offer during their training period.
Campus Interview: Even in these days of recent and unemployment placement scenanio of htis institute is a matter of every. About 60-70% get jobs before they pass out from their final years.
The new batch of graduating and post graduating engineers from this entitles will be available from May, 2002 to futher need. He technical manpower requirements of adventures, growth oriented and alterned organisation of the region and the country. We welcome all the organisation of textile industry for cmapus interview from Nov. 2001 to May, 2002.
