The Institute has a well-maintained residential environment for learning. We respect and appreciate individual differences and strive to promote a sense of community among the residents. Residential life also foster leadership, promotes understanding of diverse backgrounds and life styles, encourage cooperative decision making and supports activities that allow students to uncover and broaden their interests. The environment provided is conducive for the inmates to grow intellectually socially and physically. All three of our residential halls have rooms designed for double occupancy and can accommodate a total of 184 students. Each hall has its own dining hall, kitchen, reading rooms and other recreational facilities. Separate accommodation is provided for girl students.
Student admitted to the college hostel will be provided with a seat in the hostel alongwith one Takhat, one table, one chair etc. The students will be personally responsible to return the articles issued to them to the care taken (hostel) in sound conditions at the end of the session. The detailed hostel conduct rules are gives as under:
Every students shall be required to maintain high standard of discipline.
Students shall do nothing which may cause disturbance in studies.
Guests are not allowed to stay in the hostel without prior permission from the warden.
No female guest shall be allowed to stay in the hostel.
Students are not allowed to interchange room/hostel without written Permission of warden.
Transfer of furniture from one room to another is not allowed.
Students shall not be allowed to held any meeting without written permission from warden.
Gambling and use of intoxicant are strictly prohibited.
Students shall be required to vacate their rooms while going on summer vacation
The hostel warden has full authority to check any room in the hostel at any time. Special permission may be granted by the Dean of students welfare for stay during vacations in a specified hostel.
Ragging is a cognizable offence punishable under the law and is strictly banned any student involved in any kind of ragging will be liable for immediate expulsion from the hostel.
No one is allowed to take part in any type of video film show in the hostel premises without the permission of the hostel warden.
