Director's Message

This institute is one of the oldest textile institute of India and has contributed significantly to the national technological man power resource by providing great textile technologies who are meaning important positions in the textile industry research institutes and academics.

Being an alumni of the institute my endeavor is to make it a center of excellence. My thrust areas restructuring of curriculums to be of global relevance better training and exposure of faculty and students, continuous interaction with industry and research organization to achieve overall excellence.

With this view our P.G. and doctoral research programmers are collaborative with industry IITs or premier research organizations. This has given recognition and boost in the quality of our research programmers and made the student better employable.

My faculty members and equally keen to achieve our goals with their eagerness enthusiasm and cooperation, I hope the institute will become an outstanding teaching and research center in textile Technology and allied fields.

This website I am sure would strengthen our links with industry, research organizations professional bodies and other technical institutions as well as with our alumni.
